Ten Tips to Use Web Browser

#1. Set a simple Home Page
Home page is the first page that appears when you open the browser. Set your most frequently visited website as home page like Facebook. Search pages also set as home pages most popular are Google and Bing.

#2. Enable Tabbed Browsing
Tabs use to open web pages in same browser window. Using tabs you can switch between windows. The internet explorer 5 doesn’t have this feature if you install yahoo toolbar it can enable tabs on internet explorer. Almost all new browsers have tabs feature.

#3. Enable search suggestions
When you start typing search keyword in browser search bar it can automatically find the popular search terms and show out to you. So enable suggestions in browser options. It makes you easy to find site you want.

#4. Don’t install unnecessary toolbars.
Many website offer free tool bars to users because they need to engage users frequently. They slower the downloading speed and make hard to view pages. I recommend you to install Google toolbar that can automatically fill out forms that require your details (not credit card). Google toolbar shows off Gmail, share buttons, side wiki bookmarks, spell check, translate, up, highlight etc .These buttons make your surfing more efficient.

#5. Opt out automatically select certificates on browser.


#6. Have deep linked bookmarks.
When you use internal pages frequently bookmark them, then you can access later them by one click.

#7. Do not enable history or cookies on shared computer
If you enable other can access to your e-mails, the sites you visit. This is often mistake done by students they don’t sign out they just close the window and go, always remember to sign out or don’t check remember me box on WebPages.

#8. Get additional plug-ins, extensions pre- installed.
Specially Adobe Flash player and download mangers like downthemall,idman,dap,orbit etc.
Because most browsers have slow file downloading speeds.

#9. Enable parental controls if kids use internet.


#10. Enable crash reports, usage stats to help web browsing better.
